(More customer reviews)This does protect your mattress from water, etc., but you can tell there is plastic underneath the sheets. I noticed that I have been sweating now that we put the mattress cover on. Its still cool in our place, so I hope it doesn't get much worse in the summer, or we will have to remove it.
