Coleman 4D Universal Quick Pump Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item to use with my air mattress when camping. I was very dissappointed with this pump. I used brand new batteries and a brand new mattress when using the pump the first time ...and still the pump struggled to wheeze a few puffs into the mattress. It took a pathetically long time to get any air into the mattress- and once it got to about 65% filled- it seemed to just give up. At that point the air it was losing and the air it was providing seemed to stabilize and nothing could get it to fill anymore.
Before this purchase, I owned a more expensive Eddie Bauer air mattress with the pump attached. This worked wonderfully, especially when camping, and I miss it terribly. However, with four cats in the house, even a mountain of protective blankets and other spreads can't save the mattress from the inevitable claw and so I have had to resort to more disposable mattresses. I sure wish someone would make a cat resistant air mattress with a built in pump.

(More customer reviews)These sheets are smooth and comfortable; however, the fabric is thick and substantial, so if you like your sheets cuddly-soft, maybe you won't care for these. I'm one of those people who can't stand to have wrinkles and folds under my feet, so I've fallen in love with them; the fabric will hold up all week without getting stretched, loose, and tangly. I do wish they had done an extra row of stitching on the elastic of the fitted sheet, but at this price I suppose you can't have everything--and if it becomes necessary, I do have a needle-----somewhere-----I think.
I like the café color very much--it's a rich gold, deeper and not as yellow as the golds of yesteryear. The sheets launder well; if you take them out of the dryer promptly and iron just the top hem (Iron an entire sheet? I don't think so.), the whole set looks smooth and inviting.
So I'm very pleased. Now if I could just get my husband to let me tuck in the sheets at the bottom of his side of the bed, life would be good.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for one of my extra bedrooms. I wanted something that I could set up and use but deflate and store when I needed my office/exercise room back. This is perfect. Even my older son told me it was very comfortable when he was home for a weekend and had to sleep in that room. I have used it 20+ times since July, 2008 and it has held up to 3 kids under the age of 8, 3 adults and even my cat. I have tried other air mattresses over the years and they have all begun to leak after only a few uses. Highly recommend this perfect "spare" bed.
UPDATE: 12/15/09. Still a wonderful product almost 18 months after purchase. No leaks, no bunching or "bubbles", fully inflates and stays fully inflated even with two adults sleeping on it for 14 days. I love the remote that allows you to adjust the inflation level after you have gotten into bed. Still a big hit in my guest room.
