(More customer reviews)Perfect for a thick pillowtop mattress. My mattress is a huge 17" model, and about 3" is just the pillowtop itself. This pad is nice and thin, and works perfectly. I have not spilled anything on it to see how well it deflects water, but it already went through a number of washes, and it's perfect after each wash. I was concerned about a mattress pad ruining the feel of a thick pillowtop, but this is not the case with this pad, it's a perfect match.
