It's great to take with you if you're camping, BBQs, friends or family visiting and needing a place to sleep, etc. It has multiple uses. I used it to lounge around on the floor in front of my TV/Gaming system, and you can prop yourself up like a lounge chair. It's great at being versatile. I'd say the least comfortable position is when you have it strictly set up as a couch. Sitting in it for less than an hour is fine. Anything more than that and you'll be fidgeting.
The mattress holds the air quite well. You can go days or a week even before you'll feel the need to add a little air to get a more firm feeling. I would recommend this air mattress; however, I would not recommend it for everyday use; but that all depends on the users and how THEY are using it.
Pros:
1) Huge - the whole family, or all your friends can fit on this
2) Portable - Can get it set up quickly as well as break it down quickly and take with you
3) Durable/Reliable - mattress is sturdy and manufactured well
4) Comfortable - depending on how you are using it of course.
Cons
1) Huge - depending how you use it, this mattress is really big and if the area is small, you'll have a hard time getting this mattress adjusted. It's definitely best used in larger open areas.
2) I wouldn't want to sleep on this mattress every single day.
3) The pump is LOUD!! It's just a small pump that uses a small fan to either be used to inflate the mattress, or to deflate the mattress (you have the option to connect it to the exhaust or the suction side of the pump). At any rate, it's LOUD. I'm surprised no one mentioned that. It does not take away from the mattress functionality, I just thought I'd mention it. I used earplugs whenever I inflated/deflated it.
I would recommend this item as long as you will be using it in a large area. In the end, I actually got rid of it. Not because it was a terrible product, but because it was too big for the room I was using it in.
