(More customer reviews)After researching heated mattress pads I had decided on "Soft Heat Velour Heated Mattress Pad." I received it and it was terrible. It would not stay on the bed with its poor elastic base and it was like sleeping on a piece of paper. I sent it back immediately. Then I found this one! It has actual thick padding which feels wonderful. It feels like a pillowtop and adds a soft comfortable feel to the bed. The heat is great and warms quickly. It is a lot like a heat blanket but under you. I set it on high for about 15 minutes just to take the chill off of the bed and it works great. It fits the bed and stays in place. The elastic that wraps around the mattress is tight and effective and will fit any depth of bed as far as I can tell. So if you want a soft pad with actual thickness to it then this is the one! I love it! I am getting another one for my guest bedroom bed.
