(More customer reviews)I sleep on a futon, and the mattress is kind of hard and tough. This pad makes a HUGE difference; now my bed is soft and fluffy while still being supportive. The pad also has a great subtle wave shape on top that makes a nice level surface, unlike the bumpy texture of traditional egg crate pads. Durable as well, I've been sleeping on this pad for a year now and it's soft as ever.
