(More customer reviews)We recently bought this bed as a Christmas present to ourselves to try and get some organization into our bedroom. We have a very small house,with two adorable but messy kids, so any way to store, organize or hide things is great! My husband put it together, and the headboard that is suggested to go with it, in a little over 3 1/2 hours with a few little breaks and 1 smahed thumb.
I was actually suprised when we got it and it had 3 drawers- in the tiny picture it looks like only 2. They are sturdy enough for clothes and some heavier stuff and they open and close with ease.
The only thing that I can think of on the negative side is the length of time that was estimated to deliver it. Apparently it came from Canada, so it had to go throught their customs- which takes an extra 5 days. It did arrive with no damage, and it is heavy and sturdy enough that we are pleased that we won't need to buy another bed any time soon. Maybe a new matress one day, but that actually got a lot firmer when we lost the box springs, so maybe not for a long time.

Our King Platform Storage Beds combine extra large drawers for plenty of storage space with a slat support system that requires only a mattress. Wood slats are positioned lengthwise to distribute body weight evenly, minimize the amount of motion transfer and take the place of a box-spring.
